Not the best picture, but it proves the point. Yes you are seeing right, that is snow on the ground and trees.. On May 24!! Can we please have warm weather soon, Utah? I am done with winter.. we want spring and summer!

Bowl of Death - Results

So, since we took some pictures of the results of the most recent round of 'Bowl of Death' I thought I would upload some of them and include some commentary for some of those who weren't able to make it. Competition was intense.

Michelle looks way too happy for having just eaten a spoonful of Deli Mustard...

Jordan needed to ask, 'Can I Drink Water?' but shot flour everywhere.

I don't know if Taylor's deep sniffs or BJ's personal search for the smelliest shoe was worse. I was embarrassed mine won, but what can I say....I like running with no socks on! Sue me.

We found out that BJ can be bought. $10 gets you just about anything apparently. Sadly we missed the shot of Beej's gag reflexes rocketing the egg out into the sink after he gargled it for 4 seconds.

This might be the most controversial moment of the entire night. For the sake of those involved, I will not comment on the outcome of this particular match.

google saved my bacon today

So, every once in a while something happens where you stop and think, 'wow....that's pretty cool. thank goodness for technology'. Seems like that has happened less and less since I have gotten used to the iphone, GPS, Mint.com, or anything else that makes everyday tasks 'idiot proof'.

Just a minute ago, I was going to send an email. Like I do probably about 2 or 3 times a week, I got more caught up in the body of the email than the attachments and forgot to attach a file that I was meaning to send. Normally I would have pressed send, been content that I had accomplished something, then been sadly disappointed in myself when I got an email back from a friend or colleague saying, 'hey doofus....you forgot the attachment'. Few things are as embarrassing. So maybe that's a little dramatic but really I hate when I do that.

Luckily, Google and I are tight and they have my back.....so this happened instead:

So, the moral of the story is.....wow, that's pretty cool. I didn't say it was going to be a really interesting post so you can't be too disappointed.

Cinco de Mayo 5k

Scott ran a Cinco de Mayo 5k yesterday. He has been working out a lot lately.. I need to be more like him. I was there to cheer him on but didn't run it! Drew and Taylor ran in the race also. They all did such a great job and it was a fun race to watch because there were lots of people dressed up in costumes for Cinco de Mayo.

Our new shelves!

Scott and I bought these shelves when my mom was in town a couple of months ago. They were just plain wood shelves and we painted and distressed them. We finally finished them completely and put them up! I love how they turned out.. Now I just need help figuring out how to decorate them!
